Gabrielle Maria Gonzalez is not one to follow the crowd. Instead she opts to create jewellery and shoes that are individual, and desired by the people who want to be embellished in pieces that stand out.

Gonzalez graduated from Central Saint Martins Women’s Wear in 2009 and has since developed her luxury brand by experimenting with a variety of materials. Beginning with leather, Gonzalez created off kilter pieces that would perfectly embellish simple outfits and give it a refreshing new take on the body. Soon after, the designer released a series of knitted gowns and jumpers that were crocheted and knotted by Gonzalez herself.

Gonzalez’s designs have always been bold and in her latest collection, Alcoyne Dreaming, the unconventional pieces look sleek and just as luxurious as the many pieces before them. With plastic being warped into transparent ribbons, the SS15 collection delivers necklaces, belts, bags, sunglasses and shoes hat all seem to have a free and untamed disposition.

By looking at each piece you wonder how they stay in place and no doubt, how they would sit upon your own body. Each piece delicately wraps around the body by molding its shape and framing it like a beautiful picture.

It’s a collection you won’t see anywhere else and defines the original creativity that has always stemmed from Gabriella Maria Gonzalez.
