The latest edition from the Melbourne design duo is centred around the concept of acceptance and unity through our differences. Created under the romanticised notions of escape, the narrative of the collection stirs a traveller within us all, leaving you with itchy feet and a desire to throw your belongings in a suitcase and book the soonest one-way plane ticket.

Ease and comfort are intrinsically linked to the inspiration behind the collection, with a focus on low maintenance. The pieces are practical, with room for personal interpretation and expression. PER-TIM wants you to play with the clothing, wear it multiple ways and reform yourself for every new day, the clothing evolves as you do. Travel and exploration are immensely prevalent throughout the collection, as wrapped parcels and luggage straps become the garments. One half of PER-TIM’s creative duo, Laura Albee Barton commented,

“The collection is focused around the concept of travel, moving places from where you are primarily located, interacting and mixing with different cultures and globalisation.”
