So when Melbourne-based design duo Bernadette and Laura of the recently launched PER–TIM label set tongues-a-wagging with their debut Club Bed collection of reconsidered loungewear, our ears pricked.

Having described their collection as a “bed to bar” fashion situation, the refined informality and easy-breezy essence of resort wear remains a principle designer factor, with the quirky realm of sleepwear infiltrating the design structure in offering an ultimately glorious array of day-to-night-to-day-again apparel. Tees, tanks, shorts, button-downs, eye masks, robes, baggy pants, loose-fitting slips and manchester filter through a background of marbled Azure and grey-toned mauve’s.
