KENIS FEDERICO


Argentinian all-rounder Kenis Federico's talents know no limits.

A practicing photographer, illustrator, musician and videographer, Federico is comfortable in approaching any medium he feels creatively drawn to.

Self taught through books, the internet and pure practice, he uses his mediums, specifically his photographic work as a filter through which he contemplates the world.

Nowadays, he experiments by composing with materials and people in different mediums and interfaces, seeking the ambiguous places within the the relationships between organic/synthetic, abstract/figurative, content/form, chance/cause and virtual/real spaces. He has also voiced intrigue in the universal concept of noise (both in sound as in the visual), consciousness and changes in the state of matter.

More recently he’s began exploring gif art, glitch art, video art and concepts like information flows, new and obsolete technologies (and their naturally or sponteaneously generated aesthetics) and social networks.

Indeed Federico shows no signs of slowing down or limiting his creative scope any time soon.
