I loved The OC. I’m not ashamed to say it. Heck, during my heterosexual days in primary school I had the biggest crush on Summer Roberts (which evidently turned into having the biggest crush on her boy toy lover Seth Cohen come high school). Although The OC has ended, our condolences to Mischa Barton, it seems the Orange County girl lives on.

Opening Ceremony’s 2013 Resort wear pays homage to the girls of the Sunshine State. Think beach, think sunshine, think Californiaaaa. This collection is for mojitos by the pool, apple martinis at the tennis club and of course, surviving the sweltering heat whilst sun baking - potentially with a sneaky flask (you taught us well Miss Roberts).

There is an essence of classic Hepburn-sexiness hidden within the pastel and florals polo dresses, polka dot onesie, purple plastic coat and of course, the hand beaded pearl cardigan. The lookbook, shot by Tina Tyrell, is equally as sizzling. This really is a collection for Palm Beach Spring vacation; this is real resort wear.
