FRENZY OF EXULTATIONS
A group show curated by Sydney creative Chloe Nour featuring 9 exciting, emerging artists working in a variety of mediums: photography, textiles, performance, illustration and sculpture.
‘Frenzy of Exultations’ is a reference to the 1893 painting by Władysław Podkowiński yet the phrase itself is wonderfully expansive, encompassing the sexual, spiritual, joyful, desperate, humorous and terrifying. Each artist has explored what the phrase means to them within their own art practice and created their own unique contemporary twist on the classical reference.
The show opens on Friday the 24th of October 7pm at Paper Plane Gallery and runs until Friday the 31st of October.
Oh and there is free booze and tasty tunes served up by Extreme Gelati!
