T&L PRESS
Girls in bikinis sitting poolside, pungent smoke wafting in pastel clouds, sunsets that make you think you might be in paradise. Good times rain or shine. These are some of the essences captured by the artists of Tan and Loose Press; the printing press is run and operated by Clay Hickson, an illustrator and lover of the surreal.
The store is online- all white infinite dimensional space, but it’s easy to imagine an actual physical store in Chicago, a physical Tan and Loose Press hidden down a backstreet, selling colourful art and icypoles.
Some of the products available include colour prints by Mike Perry and Hisashi Okawa, beautiful zines and postcards. The zine Rally by Annu Kilelåinen simply includes large colourful prints of girls, cars and tulips.
Tan and Loose Press does not pretend to be anything other than what it is, its product range is simple but elegantly curated. You know each piece of art has been chosen and replicated for a reason; there is no time for fillers. Indeed Tan and Loose Press stand for independence and quality, for finding the perfect moment and making it yours.
