PILAR ZETA
Pilar Zeta offers you an alternate universe- the option to enter into another world, even for a short time, everything is simple, everything becomes a pattern of logic and symmetry.
That is not to say there is no mystery in her work, she makes us want to worship at her self-created digital altar, explore the subtext of the imagery and bounce off her incredible vibes. Adept at styling, digital work and graphic design, Zeta states "all actions have magikal reactions," and she makes us want to believe her.
Zeta is open about her obsession with triangles, and it feels like her patterns of creation are influenced and inspired by ancient Egyptian art and hieroglyphics. It feels as if she is recreating the inside of the pyramids with her imagination, thrusting us back into the past using tools found in the present.
Inspired not only by the history of civilizations, but by musical history too, she recreates album artwork by house god Frankie Knuckles, making us swoon even more. There is poetry in this work for everyone: a sense of inherent passion and secrecy, of the desire to always push the limit to understanding and creativity.
