UBER AND KOSHER
Some people try to do everything without ever exceeding mediocrity. Then there are those, like the Belgium based art direction studio Uber and Kosher, who attempt, then exceed, and excel, in their efforts across numerous creative disciplines. Including; concept design, identity design, artwork, styling, graphic design for print/web/apparel and consultancy for the fashion, music, art and film industry.
One could say then, the duo behind the studio are in short, over achievers.
The two halves of the studio, Martijin Vogelaers and Deborah Bloemen, respectively hold several qualifications in design, art, styling and fashion, freelancing their creative knowledge out as consultants, and to date have put their stamp on several projects of note. Besides consultancy work the pair have also had works published in books and magazines the world over, and have come to be a firm namesake in the fashion industry.
With Deborah the main driver behind the fashion and styling projects, and Martijin shining in the graphic designs sectors, together the two are supplementary and compatible.
This creative compatibility is undoubtedly what has hooked them such high profile clients like Maison Martin Margiela, Rick Owens and Adidas Slvr. From designing and placing prints, to the graphic remixing of images for campaigns, and photographing and curating imagery for blogs, Uber and Kosher prove their creative instincts are faultless. Similarly their art direction and logo designs for several brands has proved invaluable.
With now over ten years in the industry, the two will no doubt continue to let their creative initiatives speak for themselves, whilst assumedly continuing to expand and develop their projects and professional collaborations further.
And we can’t wait to see what comes next.
Here’s to an Uber and Kosher future, impeccably styled.
