BEA SWEET
I have so much respect for makeup artists (and to greater extent, drag queens - werrrk gurrrl). I can’t count the amount of hours I’ve spent eyes fixed to the computer screen, YouTube’ing makeup tutorials in awe and jealousy. The way the face can be transformed through powders, bronzers and contouring is incredible; makeup artists are creative gods.
London-based makeup artist Bea Sweet trained at The London College of Fashion (2009) and has since contributed to editorials and features for i-D, V Magazine, Nylon, and Dazed and Confused Magazine.
Bea is interested in promoting the varied vision of feminine beauty, in all its forms. Her portfolio of makeup artistry in fashion portraiture demonstrates Sweet’s undeniable talent in highlighting and transforming ones facial features.
Recently Sweet has shot with Olympia Campbell for Japanese Vogue alongside photographer Saga Sig. Again, werrrk gurrrl.
