Many successful, or up-and-coming photographers today are fairly young and Balint Barna is no different. The 22-year-old is still studying at the Monoly-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest but has already been recognized by a variety of publications for his wonderful portraiture.

After spending time in New York City, Barna curated his very first photo shoot with a close friend who just happened to be a model. Soon publications such as Elle Man, Glamour and Novembre Magazine all wanted to hire Barna to curate and shoot their fashion editorials.

In just two years he has a vast catalogue of images that showcase his talent for photography. His portraits show the subject in an artistic light, blending blank backgrounds with the colourful models. You could almost see this as his interpretation of creating life on a blank canvas as he creates wonderful images across clean backgrounds.

Bounding across London and Budapest, Barna is always searching for inspiration with his freedom giving him the push he needs to further his photography. Barna believes that freedom an essential element in his work as it gives him a more imaginative view of his work, which definitely makes the final product all the more interesting.
