FEEL THE FUTURE 'HVN'
Feel The Future. Vibe their style. Wear their threads.

That’s right, Renee Warne and Gibson Fox, the two founders– and straight up cool kids– of the online multimedia destination dedicated to fashion, Feel The Future, have gone ahead and launched the F.T.F shop.

Now they not only style and shoot that independent and unique aesthetic, but have designed it and placed in on a hanger. Their threads becoming the embodiment of the grimy, gritty, murky and fresh street vibes of their editorials. And it definitely aint bad for a first attempt at apparel, but honestly, we already knew they had the goods to pull it off.

The collection, titled ‘HVN’, is based on the idea of heaven on earth, and for all those like myself who find their slice of happiness in PVC and fur, or just sick clothing in general, every piece is indeed like finding heaven on earth straight off the rack.

“It’s a synthesised surreal bliss out for bad girls with good vibes, like D'arcy Wretzky, Susan Eldridge, Sadie Pinn, Devon Aoki, Alison Perry and Valentina Sykes,” says Renee.

But it’s not just for the killer babes, when I asked if the threads could be unisex Renee responded; “For sure, the jackets and performance tees are made from men's fits, so they're fresh for girlfriends and boyfriends!

It’s got the 90’s feel that everyone is pretty much about right now, but with an F.T.F spin. From a sheep skin stool like warmer, a PVC coated jacket, and a padlock necklace, this isn’t an ordinary collection, nor is it for an ordinary person.

“We wanted lush fabrics that make you feel like a slice of heaven. The PVC is slick and glossy, the tees are silky and light, and the sheepskin is like being wrapped in a cloud.”

No doubt to be embraced by F.T.F fans, if they haven’t already done so – Renee rocked a different piece of the collection every day of MBFWA and she had me changing my mind every time about what piece I wanted, no, needed.

And if these fans of the duo, and the site, haven’t already made it known by sharing, re-gramming and liking F.T.F content, when they start rocking around in the Feel The Future long-sleeve it will be pretty apparent to all that F.T.F has well and truly taken over. Becoming a household name in independent content and wears.

We can’t wait to see what they have in the works for the next collection, and to a future F.T.F x PITCH mash-up.

“We've got lots of big ideas for the store, it'll be ever-changing just like the rest of the site. No boundaries, no limits!”

Stay tuned for both.
