The World Is Your Oyster is a brand new menswear label created by designers Calvin Chan and Joyce Kun and their debut AW14 collection has already excited the fashion world.
The label’s debut collection, 'We Used To Be Us', extenuates the theme of growth. The theme is shown throughout the look book where we see the styling presenting the awkward teenager on the brink of adulthood and also the fully accomplished man taking on the world.
Each piece has a little something extra aside from exquisite tailoring. Pocket-flaps, removable zippers and ribbed cuffs are just some of the adjustments that Chan and Kun have made to the modern man’s style in the AW14 collection. The pastels seem to blend together well with the sleek pinstripes, highlighting the mixture of business and pleasure within the collection.
'We Used To Be Us' is a collection that caters for the man who wants to be stylish and make a statement, but doesn’t want to look like he’s trying to hard. It’s the modern man captured in 18 skillful looks.
