In all his psychedelic glory, Golden’s creations are entrancing and delightful. Almost childlike in his creations for Adult Swim, Golden can switch from light-hearted to serious in a matter of moments, his aesthetic ranging from cute and colourful creatures to slick and stunning typography. And this is how we can measure the skill of a true artist, by his ability to change pace in a heartbeat, to create what he feels and sees.

Not only is he extremely adept in illustration and graphic design, but his promo shoot and art direction for the Power Puff Girls is enough to make you scream internally with child-like glee. His arrangement of pastel swirls, cartoon monsters and carefully arranged typography is nothing short of impressive.

It’s almost as if Golden has an inner eye, one which sees things imperceptible to mere mortals. Golden creates a tangibility which seems impossible for still images, something you want to reach out to touch and taste.
