GERGO KOVACS

A Budapest based artist surfing on several mediums; from digital, and textile to illustration, Gergo Kovacs has an eye for futuristic art.

Digitalism and 3D elements appear to play a large part in Kovacs' work which rarely appear without some kind of modern, new age-internet kid aesthetic. His ability to meld the mundane with the basic to create imagery that is anything but, is a talent indeed.

It's not surprising that Kovacs chooses to create through various mediums which is a common practice for many artist's at this time, but it also reflects again the futuristic, and "new" field for which he is situated.

It's all about that cyber aesthetic, and internet compatibility– art is no longer viewed solely on the wall of a gallery, but through the sphere of a screen. Thus Kovacs creates his work accordingly.

His strange compositions and pairings alongside geometric patterns and neon colours mean if you aren't viewing his work via screen they may infect lose half their purpose, and appeal.
