ROSA REDNL
Captivating subjects, raw shots, and minimal colour combined with interesting angles. This is the work of photographer Rosa Rendl. Her minimalistic aesthetic and simplistic employment of colour trademark her photographic interpretation of fashion, women, interior and life.
Rendl’s use of raw spaces and single subjects creates the perfect juxtaposition between intimacy and isolation, with each photograph providing a personal ethos of the subject. Each photograph speaks for itself through a language of colour, subject and angles, and their intrinsic link.
The Austrian born, and London based Rendl graduated University of the Arts London in 2010 and has since gone on create a definitive style of her own photography.
Upon graduating she has been published by the likes of publication heavyweights such as Dazed&Confused, Novembre, I Love You, Another and HUSK Magazine. Rendl has also previously worked for Hussein Chalayan and earned herself an artist residency at the Cite Internationale des arts Paris by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, the Arts and Culture.
These achievements are no small feat, but aren’t surprising, as Rendl’s work has such a distinctive ambiance, leaving your mind imprinted with a tender and quiet intimacy.
It's not often you come across artwork that leaves such a lasting impact within you, but be prepared to be captivated by Rendl’s beautifully raw photographic style.
