KAHLO
These girls gave the goods and the clothes were clean cut.
A lesson in understated cool, Kahlo’s SS14/15 offered up everything we are currently about. It’s androgynous, fresh, young, and 100% true to the labels strong leather game. The fresh faced, salt sprayed hair, and dewy skinned models, stomped the floor with their black, laced up, school-style docs, and offered up some serious attitude.
It was grimy yet clean.
The pallet was molten gold, the reflective fabric glimmering delicately to the strong stomp of the model’s walk. Duo toned and textured jeans cut to the ankle, cropped tops, origami shirts and diagonal stitch detailing, were standouts, all on a base of black. Every piece was covetable.
The accessories were minimal, the occasional silver cuff and safety pin style earring from a collaboration with Claire Artiste, was visible. But the standout was the cutout at the back of the tops used as hair collars, legit.
