Elise Victoria Louise Windsor is a very dedicated student. Whilst studying as an MFA candidate at Concordia University in the Studio Arts Program , Windsor has been hard at work creating beautiful photographs that blend together her three artistic influences; visual art, sculpture and photography.

The artist has already been involved in exhibitions in Canada, the United States and Russia, and her photographs have also been apart of the XPACE/SPARK Contemporary Art Space Residency in New York, making her an accomplished artist even before graduation.

Elise Victoria Louise Windsor’s talent is clearly visible. Her work, although seemingly different, blends together her influences to show a creative mind that has a true eye for her craft. With photography already being mastered, Windsor is currently experimenting with still life photographs, highlighting her love of sculpture as each image focuses on a single object on the most simple of back drops.

The artist has previously experimented with visual illusions, exploring the two-dimensionality of her photographs and the three-dimensionality of the architecture and subjects that are involved. In her earlier images the subject creates a complex life for itself whilst giving itself to an object and the camera.

Elise Victoria Louise Windsor still has a lot of work in the pipeline and will surely continue along her creative path.
