Tonangeber is hard to define. An amalgamation of branding, illustration and web design, this innovative project by Ani and Beda creates an entirely new creative process.

Basically, the duo set out to generate digital artwork for playlists they’d created, combining the elements of the music they love with their passion for design. Their visual codification of different designs for different playlists was ultimately formed into a program created by TwoPoints.Net, through “super-tool”.

This super-tool allowed the designers to create individual but similar creations for their playlist, morphing and stretching them in a similar way to InDesign to get the final appearance they desired. The result is beautiful geometric shapes, perfectly measured and edited to create precious individual gems. They flow as a series, but are easily distinguishable from one another. Pastel colours and black and white distortion define the shapes, creating what could not merely be called album artwork, but rather artworks standing all on their own, creating the same ebb and flow you would get from the perfect combination of songs.
