Verner’s first ever look-book, designed by Jahved, features model Elle Graham (Chadwick Models) framed within an incredible greyscale mountainous-quarry background in a selection of adorable Little House on the Prairie-esque ensembles and the cutest Jockey hats I’ve seen since Melbourne Cup.

Verner’s Brunswick/Resort ’13 ready-to-wear resembles Dion Lee’s “Lunar Tides” SS/13 collection, reaffirming the oncoming Summer trend of high gloss soft marble prints warped and melted onto fabric skirts, dresses, tops and trousers. The Brunswick/Resort collection features gentle pastels with earthy tonal browns and greens, paired with gladiator laced heels and a killer selection of sleek shades.

What’s surprising about the collection is its diversity. Gone are the days were typical Resort wear prizes sailor blouses and oversized white trousers. Verner's practical and casual, yet seamless ensembles scream holiday vacation without the annoying baby on the plane. Verner has included an incredible range of prints, patterns and styles with figure hugging/hiding maxi and cocktail dresses, long and short jumpsuits, and what appears to be a stylish tracksuit skirt with matching cape. I'm in love.
