Heads up kids, there’s a new chick on the fashion block, and she’s pretty damn great.

Heading up the international designer stakes, Tobar’s fresh take on feminine dressing has got us all craving some tailored goodness. Hitting the on-trend sculptural mark with her debut in late 2012, Tobar’s dedication to the art and processes of design are translated in the Waltzing Lights collection. Tobar’s Spanish roots, Netherlands training and current New York base has not, as some may think, hindered the fluid progression of the design process. Rather, the vastness of her geographical habitat has garnered Tobar an ability to translate the most delicate design messages through wearable, artful and innovative pieces, all with a delicate fluidity and succinct aesthetic.

Inspired by the jellyfish and the natural movement of the environment, Tobar has incorporated her knack for classic, elegant cuts and sculptural quality with thick textures, combed out furs, printed silks and sheers with a delicately iridescent finish. We call genius!
