SØREN JEPSEN
The Locals, a photographic insight into the street style of the Copenhagen locals and fashionistas from around the world.
Jepsen’s photographs, processed with VSCO Film , are perfectly toned and grained, that appears effortless. I marvel at not only the quality of his images, but the quality of his subjects. I’ll admit to my dislike (and jealousy) for the modelesque photographs of street style women who look as though they’ve leapt from the pages of some glossy magazine and look far from street-natural in their $5000 labels... Which is why I adore Søren Jepsen’s finds; so varied in style, culture, and trend, Jepsen has successfully captured true and unique street style.
“It really is about real people, in real clothes, on regular days of the year. So while you will occasionally find the odd fashion victim on my blog, most of the times, you will encounter the awkward girl in the vintage sweater, or the nerdy guy on the way to the laundromat."
