Zoologie has recently released their Autumn/Winter 2013 “Ascender” collection; think street-urban mountain climbing with a touch of leopard print and flannel. The Melbourne label honors functional design with meticulous detailing, and most admirably, a dedication to Australian made clothing!

The collection is built for the mountaineers of the streets; high performance materials (waterproof, mind you), fleece vests and jackets sporting contrast geometric pockets that are both stylish and functional. What I love about Zoologie is their commitment to innovative, casual designs that aren’t trend led, but rather, go against the grain.
