What to say about Low Classic? Well, I could start by telling you about their strong minimalist with a side of quirky design aesthetic, their comprehensive label branding or their industry knowledge (we’re dealing with expats hailing from the industry brackets of buying, editing and design here kids). But I won’t. I’m going to tell you about their Spring/Summer 2013 collection and how fab it is.

After a 2009 launch in the motherland of Seoul, Low Classic’s trio of Lee Myeong Sin, Hwang Hyun Ji and Park Jin Sun’s attention to detail whilst maintaining an all-important capacity for wearability, comfort and endurance is what’s got me so damn keen to garner some classics of my own. With wardrobe staples like tailored coats and shirts, sheer skirts in monochromatic deliciousness, fresh suiting ideas, texture, accessories, a delightful postage stamp motif and some good old block letters joining the gang, Low Classic’s take on female dressing for the strong, modern woman with a heart of whimsy we are deeming the next big thing. The brand’s dedication to keeping their wares low in cost with a classic, considered and without doubt strong brand aesthetic is what’s got industry insiders raving, and all of us wanting more.
