New York artist Hayden Dunham has a talent for medium based visual art. So much so that her large installations breath new light to the concept of interactive and tactile art.

Her wonders- yes they are wonders- may not authorise viewer handling, but they do indeed invite; through the use of texture, colour and most certainly uniqueness, audiences to want to touch and investigate the works further. The intrigue produced by Dunham's pieces is contagious.

The depth of her works; she almost always engulfs an entire space, leaves no speck untouched, creating a deluge of pieces that warrant celebration. They are like no other, truly original yet possess a certain common attraction that make them aesthetically pleasing.

Indeed their is a strangeness to Dunham's works, but again this is part of their allure. Their unconventionality becomes a signpost of enticement, and when broken down into snapshots these works can be transformed to become quite beautiful. Dunham's creative prowess and eye for detail has made it so that through selective viewing the works become even more impressive as they stand alone in their own right, yet cohesively merge into the larger construction.
