Maybe it’s because I watch too much television or because I am simply addicted to HBO’s Girls, but the moment I saw Kuwaii’s Autumn/Winter 2013 collection my thoughts went straight to the polished-pretty-cultured-careerist Marnie Michaels aka the younger and trendier Charlotte (SATC) type of girls, or should I say young women of today.

We see blazers, crop sweats, trench jackets and dresses a plenty, which is fitting considering the collection is entitled “Regalia”. This collection is for all you beautiful modern women who understand that semi-conservative clothing is not only flattering, but sexy (eg. the Aristocrat Dress).

The lookbook was shot by photographer Daniel Gurton and features new shoes from Kuwaii’s AW/13 footwear collection; model Laura Wood (Chadwick) sports a pair of the new white Morris Boot Platforms, which I find gives the collection the right amount of enough edge.
